The trend of small parts shuttle warehouses has not gone unnoticed and can partially be transferred to high-bay warehouses for pallets. The shuttle solutions are also suitable for pallet storage, especially in terms of highly dynamic systems for high storage density. Another field of application is the automation of existing mid-height semi-automatic warehouses.
Analogously to the small-part-shuttle technology DAMBACH developed a new shuttle system for pallets. This new system, called "MULTIFLEX", is realized by combining different conveyer components. A new carrier vehicle was specially developed for our proven COMPACT SHUTTLE. It enables unprecedented throughput combined with new charging and energy storage technology. Even in the most demanding conditions such as deep freeze warehouses, highest efficiency is possible. Based on our experience with the development of vertical conveyors and load handling devices, it is also possible to move just the load as well as the carrier and the shuttle with just one vertical conveyor. This ensures an enormous storage density as well as flexibility and scalability for the customer.
The new pallet shuttle system MULTIFLEX will be presented at the upcoming LogiMAT 2018 in Stuttgart (Hall 1, Stand F41).
