To ensure the good availability of all items, fast and efficient logistics are essential. And to guarantee that good availability in the future as well, Messingschlager’s high bay small-parts warehouse has been extended and modernized as part of a retrofitting project carried out together with general contractor Klinkhammer. The new warehouse now has more than 14,000 m² of space with 20,000 storage places. That means Messingschlager’s modernized warehouse is Europe’s largest central depot for bicycle parts.

The energy balance is a crucial factor for modern high bay warehouses in particular. The 17 m high DAMBACH MONO storage and retrieval machines (SRM) exhibit excellent energy efficiency because of their lightweight design. Their lower weight, due to the innovative mast configuration, helps to reduce energy consumption. That in turn saves operating costs. And with their small approach dimensions, the DAMBACH SRMs can make optimum use of all the available storage space.

With a speed of up to 120 meters per minute and double-deep storage and retrieval, the DAMBACH storage and retrieval machines ensure reliable and fast provision of the requested goods. Depending on the application, the stacker cranes achieve a top speed of up to 300 meters per minute.
